We returned to this garden to assess the progress of the newly laid turf. Previously, the site was prone to waterlogging due to its sloped terrain. Since installing a tailored drainage system, surface runoff is now well-managed, improving soil conditions and promoting healthy root development.

It’s great to see the lawn thriving and the garden becoming a more enjoyable, usable space.

We created an evergreen privacy border, selecting a combination of pink Rhododendrons to grow alongside a structure of Leylandii trees. With the soil here being naturally acidic—this is exactly what Rhododendrons need to flourish

Standing once before was a rotted fence that had degraded over the years and collapsed in high winds. Our clients brought us in to reinstate a boundary between their front gardens, one that was structurally secure, allowing airflow as well as providing privacy.

We returned to this beautiful and unique sloped rock garden in Milngavie this year – a space that calls for patience and fine detail. Together with our client, we created a planting plan to bring fresh inspiration to the sloped design. Each plant was specially selected for it's colour and suitability to the environment. We tided up the overall space, added quality bark mulch and now an exciting season of growth awaits this space.

We’re laying fresh turf and installing a proper drainage system to keep this garden thriving all year round.

This is the final stage of the job—after hearing from the clients about a pond forming (complete with tadpoles!) due to heavy clay soil and poor drainage.

Here’s Morven raking through and shaping the right levels for our added sand and topsoil mix to support healthy lawn growth and prevent future flooding.

Our director James was the supervisor of a small team for this lovely job working with SRUC Oatridge Campus.
This public facing area had begun its transformation at the end of summer last year and now the project is in full swing as we enter the beauty of spring.
Fully recycled soil was used as well as some mulch mixed through.
This area is now ready for the next steps and shall be even more appealing to the influx of visitors soon to come.

We were cleaning up this front driveway with a fresh cut for these hedges! ✂️🌳 Be careful when cutting conifer hedges—if you trim them back too far into old wood, they won’t regrow! Unlike other plants, most conifers don’t regenerate from bare branches, so always leave some green growth to keep them healthy and full.🌲

This project meant a lot to us – every material was repurposed, from drainage to decoration. These slabs have been part of this household for over 30 years, moving from one home to the next, and now they get to be part of something new again.

With winter starting to loosen its grip, we’re looking forward to seeing this space come to life as the seasons shift. Delighted to have completed this one – now it’s nature’s turn to take over. 🌿

The hedge had overgrown, so we were called in for the first trim and lawn care for this client’s front and back garden. To maintain a polished look and healthy growth, we recommend a maintenance schedule every 2-3 weeks.

Our client opted for a low maintenance garden. We repurposed the previously laid chip rock and opted for a beautiful new golden quartz to match this Victorian sandstone home.
